Codrin Arsene is the Chief Marketing Officer at Digital Authority Partners, but unlike most marketing executives, he built his career from the ground up as a practitioner before moving into leadership.
Started in the Trenches
Codrin's first job was as a User Experience Analyst running usability tests. From there, he moved into SEO as a copywriter, then SEO Strategist. That hands-on foundation still shapes how he approaches marketing today: everything starts with how real users actually behave. He's Google UX certified and Semrush SEO certified, and his SEO work has driven over one billion organic views across hundreds of clients.
Built Products Before Marketing Them
Before DAP, Codrin managed digital strategy for ShopSEARS, one of the first mobile and tablet point-of-sale systems, launched in 2010. It was used by 50,000 Sears associates and processed $30 to $40 billion in revenue at its peak. That experience in product management and mobile commerce gave him a builder's mindset that most marketers lack.

Codrin has worked with 20+ AI startups, founded his own AI company, and built PerformanceX.ai. He regularly speaks and publishes on AI applications in marketing, not theory, but what's actually working.
Healthcare Marketing at Scale
Today, he leads 100+ specialists at DAP managing $18.4 million in monthly ad spend. His healthcare practice covers 74 medical organizations and has generated 847,000+ patient calls with zero HIPAA violations. Wins include taking Geode Health from zero to 26X organic traffic and personally directing UX changes that lifted appointment bookings from 125 to 1,000+ per month.
Education
MA in Marketing and BA in Political Studies and International Relations (Honors), both from University of Chicago on full scholarship. He's worked on enterprise strategy for Nestlé, Meijer, Everbridge, and Informatica. Codrin is based out of Chicago.
