Marketing Was Not Effective In The Past

Before engaging with Digital Authority Partners, Jacko Law Group’s marketing efforts, split between their internal team and external agencies, were not yielding the desired results, leading to a decline in leads over time. They struggled with low Google rankings for their services and a conversion rate of only 0.2%, well below the B2B average of 3%. Despite having hundreds of content assets on the website, their digital marketing efforts needed to be targeted more effectively to reach the right audience.

Limited Marketing Strategy

The previous agency’s approach involved deploying various marketing tactics without a cohesive overarching strategy. This resulted in misallocating resources, with too much emphasis on ineffective tactics and insufficient investment in the right ones, leading to an unfocused marketing effort. A key issue was the need for a clearly defined ideal customer profile, meaning marketing efforts were not accurately targeted to the most relevant audience.

Not Able To Measure Results

Website Analytics was not set up correctly, making it difficult to measure the results of the marketing efforts. The CRM (HubSpot) needed to accurately account for all leads due to lead collection tracking issues.

Objective: Create an effective marketing strategy & plan for the year to increase leads generated & average value of each new client.

Approach: Jacko Law Group required an effective marketing strategy. The initial step involved conducting thorough research and auditing their existing marketing efforts. This process was essential to develop a clear, forward-looking strategy and roadmap designed to improve lead generation rates.

We conducted detailed marketing audits in key areas to assess their previous marketing initiatives and define a desired future state, along with clearly defined strategies. This included evaluations in E-E-A-T best practices, their existing HubSpot instance configurations, previous paid search campaigns, technical SEO, and website conversion rate optimization best practices. Based on our findings, we provided a set of suggested improvements and a detailed roadmap to achieve their business objectives.

DAP created an organic search strategy focused on two services across 10+ locations, a paid search optimized strategy to reduce the cost of acquiring new customers, and a HubSpot strategy to optimize lead-to-sale rate.

Keyword Research: DAP conducted extensive keyword research for JLG, identifying high-value keywords related to their industry and practice areas. We also researched competitors in each target area and assessed the effort required to rank for each keyword with new landing pages. We created a prioritized keyword roadmap & recommended focus areas.

  • Target prospects specifically looking for Jacko Law Group’s practice areas in major cities like San Diego, Chicago, Denver and Dallas. 

  • Develop high-conversion location-specific landing pages for each service. This includes creating landing pages for San Diego, Chicago, Tampa, Denver, and Dallas for the two primary services: Business Lawyers and Mergers & Acquisitions.

  • Create supporting content articles and guest posts to get the service pages ranking highly on Google.
  • Implement technical SEO enhancements. We redesigned the author’s bio and provided new branding copy to comply with E.E.A.T requirements.

  • Reviews: DAP created a HubSpot email sequence to assist JLG in securing customer testimonials for their website and Google My Business profile, with personalized email instructions and automated removal of users who have left reviews.
