If you have a hard-to-navigate website, then it's likely that people are leaving without reading your content. It could also simply mean they're having trouble finding the information they want on your website, or that there's a high bounce rate when someone visits one of those pages.

The best way to fix this issue is to create a simple-to-navigate website layout that provides all of the information a customer needs in an easily-digestible format. You can also use call-to-action buttons throughout your website so that people know what you want them to do next (e.g., visit your location, call you, or fill out a form).

4. Ensure Your Content Is Mobile Friendly

Did you know that nearly 60 percent of all online searches are now carried out on a mobile device? If your website isn't mobile-friendly, you're potentially losing out on many potential leads. If people can't easily read the text or fill in the contact form when using a smartphone, there's a good chance they will leave and look for another company to give them what they want.

Therefore, it is essential to make sure that your website is mobile-friendly or consider creating a separate site for potential customers on their phones. 

5. Identify Local Keywords In Your Area

Now that you have a website that is easy to navigate and looks great on mobile devices, it's time to start targeting local keywords in your area. These are terms that people use when they're looking for a business like yours in their locale.

For example, if you own an aviation company in Las Vegas, some of the local keywords you would want to target include "aviation company Las Vegas," "airplane rental Las Vegas," and "private jet charter in Las Vegas." Of course, these are just examples. You'll want to conduct a keyword analysis to identify which keywords are right for your business. 

When you have a list of local keywords, it's time to start including them in your website content, title tags, and meta descriptions.

6. Add High-Quality Links To Your Content

One of the most important factors Google considers when ranking websites is the number of high-quality links that point to your site. This means that you need to start contacting other businesses in your area and ask them to link to your website. 

You can also contact local bloggers and ask them if they would be willing to write about your business. Create a list of high-quality sites that link to relevant content, and then contact those people and companies directly, if you want an even greater chance of getting links from them.

7. Link Your Social Media Accounts

Social media is a great way to connect with potential customers and increase brand awareness. That's why it's essential to link your social media accounts to your website. You can also use social media to share your latest blog posts, offer discounts, and more.

Make sure that you regularly post new content to your social media accounts. That way, people can always find out what's going on at your business, so that they feel like they're part of the action when you make announcements or share content that is important to them. This will also help you get more likes, shares, retweets, etc., all of which are good for SEO purposes. 

8. Submit to Online Business Directories

Another essential part of your local SEO strategy is submitting to online business directories. This helps other people find you and know that you're a legitimate company. Some examples include Yelp, Foursquare, Google My Business, etc.

9. Add Reviews To Your Business

It's also essential to encourage your current customers as well as people who visited your business in the past to add reviews about their experience.
