Major food company gets ADA Compliant

Background
Our client, a well-known food and beverage company was sued over the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) website compliance violations. The company asked DAP to help them achieve the required accessibility guidelines for users with disabilities.
Discovery
Our client was facing a tight deadline to meet the terms of the lawsuit agreement and avoid steep penalties. DAP identified the necessary steps to deliver a compliant website and create a positive experience for all users.
Solution
We began by conducting an audit of the client’s entire website. We tested every page and feature using five effective accessibility tools. We also tested a roadmap towards ADA compliance with visual examples of each issue ─ and recommendations on how to fix them.
- Improved UX design
- Conducted a thorough website audit
- Created an ADA compliance checklist
Results
All A and AA compliance issues resolved
The client met the agreement’s terms on-deadline
An ADA-optimized website
