Background
Fresh Thyme is a natural foods marketplace with over 70 store locations across the Midwest. They wanted to increase in-store traffic while also improving online visibility of individual store locations. Fresh Thyme contracted DAP to make sweeping changes to the company’s approach to local SEO.
Discovery
DAP analyzed the SEO performance and user experience provided by the store pages dedicated to individual Fresh Thyme locations.. DAP identified a series of design and content improvements that would give the pages a better chance of ranking in local search and appearing in the Google map pack. Additionally, DAP recommended a series of improvements to the stores’ Google My Business and other online directory listings to further enhance local search visibility.
Solution
DAP designed and deployed a new local store page template optimized for search relevance and a better user experience. DAP included relevant, localized information for each store, added map functionality, and also improved meta data for Fresh Thymes pages. DAP also optimized Google My Business and other directory listings for each location, giving each of the 70+ locations a vastly improved outlook for local SEO.
